CAMERAS & LENSES
Sony A6400
This is the camera I use for all of my talking head shots in the studio. I’ve also used it for all the music videos I’ve filmed so far!
Sony ZV-1
This is my vlogging camera. I use it because of the awesome stabilization, color science & portability.
Peak Design Travel Tripod
This is the tripod I use. There are cheaper options, but I’d rather invest in one durable tripod that will last for years.
Sigma 16 mm 1.4 DC DN
This is the lens I use for any wide angle shots. It’s the one I use 90% of the time with my YouTube videos.
Sony Wireless Bluetooth Shooting Grip
This is the perfect companion to the Sony ZV-1. It adds great functionality and doubles as a tripod.
Sigma 30 mm 1.4 DC DN
This lens is great for close-ups. I use it whenever I want to film something more personal.
Ulanzi Wide Angle Lens
This lens gives you a wider field of view when paired with the ZV-1. I never take it off my ZV-1.
LIGHTING
Aputure 120d ii
This is the key light I use to light my videos. This is the best light for YouTube.
Nanlite Pavotube 15C
This could be used as a cheaper option for a key light or you can use it to add color or effects to your videos.
Light Dome Mini ii Softbox
You’ll need a soft box to get flattering light. This soft box is perfect for small spaces.
Light Stand
You will need a stand to mount your key light. There are cheaper options for smaller lights like the MC or Pavotube.
Aputure MC
I own two of these. This light is perfect for lighting small spaces and creating colored atmospheres.
AUDIO
RODE NTG4+ Shotgun Microphone
The microphone I use to record audio for my videos. It is a bit expensive & requires other accessories to work.
Shure SM7B
I sometimes use this micto record audio for my videos, and I sometimes use it to record vocals for my songs.
Xoom H6 Audio Recorder
I use this to record the audio coming from the NTG4+ and I sync the audio with video in post production.
RODE VideoMicro
If you’re on a budget, this mic is for you. You won’t need anything else. Connect it to your camera and record!
XLR Cable
You will need this cable to connect the NTG4+ or SM7B to the Xoom H6.
Boom Microphone Stand
You will need this boom microphone stand to mount the NTG4+ or SM7B.
ACCESSORIES
SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB SD Card
This is the SD card I use to store my videos on my camera.
SanDisk External SSD 1 TB
You’ll need this to edit your videos on your computer.
Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod
A very handy and affordable little tripod for vlogging.
POST PRODUCTION
Apple M1 MacBook Pro (2020)
My main machine. I use it to edit my videos and design thumbnails, banners, and more.
iPad Pro 11” (2018)
The BEST iPad out there for the money. If you’re looking for an iPad and find one of these, grab it.

This turned my iPad into a productivity machine. I use it to write scripts for videos and design thumbnails.
